Internet Marketing With Streaming Video

With the advent of high speed internet/broadband connections in most homes and business locations in the United States, marketing with videos on the internet exploded. How did this happen and why is it effective?
A mere 20 years ago, we were talking about whether or not we should risk trying to ‘communicate’ on the computerized system created by the Department of Defense (known as the ‘internet’), and utilized by universities throughout the country as a tool for communication and research. Heads of businesses and agencies at the time resisted the possibility of compromising data traversing through the DOD and university systems.
And then along came Apple computers and Microsoft… and the world changed forever. Hardware and software was created, and as soon as product hit the market, Silicon Valley companies began the furious race to make the next product better and more desirable. Video marketing on the internet today is no exception.
In a nutshell, video marketing, and constantly improved software and compression, literally brings the salesperson and his spiel to the consumer, at his/her convenience. And use of videos is not limited to a sales venue. Videos on MySpace and UTube and other social communication sites would clog the airways were it not for high speed internet/broadband capabilities.
But the sales venue is our particular interest. Stop and think about what happened (before the internet was born) when you entered the local grocery store or corner clothing outlet. You were probably greeted (sometimes by name) and then you were given the newest and latest information about what they had available for sale that might interest you. Voila, the internet video. You are greeted (not by name…yet) and then provided with information that will help you decide if that market or product is something you want or need. The sales pitch is highly refined and designed to capture your interest and imagination. And it is highly effective.
Now, turn the tables and put yourself in the position of the marketer. And dream of the possibilities of internet video sales for your market… We will have more on this subject in the next few weeks.

Leisure Audio Is Working For Me as I Write!

The new focus for many ecommerce companies is how to attract buyers, and convince them that the ecommerce site is not a scam or phishing site. This can be tricky because SSL certificate logos can be copied, and websites can be duplicated. This leaves many ecommerce sites scrambling to build credibility.Narrow the NicheOnce the niche is picked then narrow it. The site may sell to dog lovers, but building an internet business for dogs will not build credibility. The site needs to narrow the niche. While ‘brick-and-mortar’ stores want to cater to everyone, successful internet businesses cater to a narrow audience.Instead of dogs, think of a small niche like; small housedogs, hairless dogs, or terriers. The internet is so vast that websites will draw thousands readers to any niche, not matter how small it is. However, if you want more control, then the next best is www.adbrite.com Link Building – As far as Google is concerned, only backlinks, or inbound links, are important. However, it is almost impossible to get a ‘real’ backlink from Google. There are sites with thousands of backlinks from hundreds of websites with similar content – but Google doesn’t count any of them as real. Thousands of successful online-businesses only receive a few hits from Google. Link building is a great method of advertising. Exchanging links with similar websites will increase a website’s exposure. One great way to build links is by writing free content. Viral Advertising – this type of advertising takes advantage of current social networks like www.myspace.com, www.squidoo.com, and hub. You can also take part in sites like www.helium.com, www.writingup.com ( a community disguised as a blog), and yahoo forums. Joint Ventures - Ebay and Commission Junction are two great joint ventures. Avoid the online joint venture schemes that promise to link hundreds of portals and communities with people who have a product. After paying $50 - $500 to join, members only find a few thousand people trying to sell ebooks. Networking – Networking is a better way to build a joint ventures. One company may manage the online store, someone else focuses on marketing, another may be a writer. Once the costs are paid, the profits are divided. This type of venture can launch an ecommerce business in one tenth of a time it normally takes, and at a fraction of the cost.

Blogging has become a very important part of running an internet business. It is very important to constantly update your blog and to ping the relevant sites that you have infact updated your blog.I try and regularly update my blog with articles and helpful hints and tips and free giveaways to increase traffic to my website. You can use a variety of ways to ping your blog. Pingoat.com and pingomatic.com are two of the best ones that ping a multitude of sites that your blog has been updated.Your blog is another way of generating traffic to your website, when you blog it is important to make it count. You should have a signature file with a link back to your site with your chosen keyword. An example is if your chosen keyword was say Make Money Online then you would hyperlink that word with your website address.You should try and update your blog at least once a day and ping it, if you can it is great to update at 3 different times ie morning afternoon and night. You can ping after each update but you must update you cannot just ping for the sake of pinging, if you havent updated your site and you ping then this is considered spamming. So to be safe only ping after adding to your blog. The more you ping and update the more traffic you will receive.Everyone wants more traffic right so the best way to get it is to go out and update your blog regularly and ping away. There is no point in updating your blog if no one knows about it right? this is where pingoat.com and pingomatic come into it they are there to let everyone know you have updated so use them as they are free. Can Article Writing Be A Legitimate Internet Home Business?
Having a home business on the internet is the new thing of this era. The opportunities are endless and the benefits are far greater than any other profession. While there is a plethora of ways to make money from an internet home business, so many people overlook an opportunity that lies right in front of them. Article writing!
If you think about it, what is the one thing that everyone needs for their internet home business regardless of what it is? Content and you would be surprised with how many people will pay to have content written for them. Whether it's because they don't have the time to write articles for themselves or aren't proficient writers, it doesn't matter. You can make a home business out of article writing.
In order to get your article writing home business going, you first want to create a small website for it. It doesn't have to be anything big, just enough for people to order their articles off, include some examples of articles you have written in the past, and post some testimonials once you get them.

From there, you want people to know the quality of articles they will be getting from your home business. In order to do this, you should be constantly writing articles of your own on anything and posting them in article directories. If you can, include your targeted keywords within the articles and hyperlink it back to your website.
By writing articles of your own, you are displaying your knowledge for a subject as well as your writing expertise. Not only that, but you are giving people a way to contact you and check out your website through the resource box. The resource box is crucial because it allows you to describe your website in a couple of sentences and then post the link to your website.
Although your internet home business may start out slow, patience is the key to success with article writing. The higher you climb on the search engines and the more posts you make in forums, the more people will be able to connect you with your business.
